what is a transmasc?

a transmasculine person is someone who is transgender and afab (assigned female at birth) and transitions into a more masculine presentation. the opposite of transmasc is transfem

the label includes trans men and certain nonbinary people

transmascs may use any pronouns and identify with any gender and sexuality they wish, it is a label that one can adopt for them and only them

fictional transmasc characters

fictional characters, as opposed to real people, cannot tell us how they identify, and that's why the transmasc label may be put on them by others

there will be times when canonically amab characters are posted. this does not mean an amab person can be transmasc

the only case where transmasc headcanons will not be accepted is in the case of canonically transfem characters, so as not to erase existing representation

however, there are people who do not feel represented by it, including the mod, so it will not be used on this account

-you're an exclusionist
-you support mspec gays/lesbians and political lesbianism
-you're over 18 and call yourself a fujoshi, go touch some grass (if you're under you're on thin fucking ice)
-you're a proshipper, get off to little kids, ship siblings, whatever your weird fucking thing is, but also if you're passionate about your media being morally pure cancelling people over the smallest things (there is a middle ground, ffs)
